Avatharam Malayalam Movie Review
Overview of Avatharam Review
Cine Shore Rating:
Cliched and tedious.
PLOT – Avatharam Malayalam Movie
Madhavan (Dileep) is a youngster from Bison Valley. He shifts to City to accompany his customs officer brother’s wife and kid, after he dies in an accident. While he is dealing with his brothers life insurance claim, he realises that he was murdered by some social evils. How Madhavan takes the revenge and what all he has to pay for it, is what Avatharam deals with.
PERFORMANCE - Avatharam Film
Dileep has done this role a numerous times and it doesn’t ask anything much from him. Still he does justice to his role. Lakshmi Menon gets a mediocre character but is fine with her performance. Joy Mathew, Mithun Ramesh, Shammy Thilakan, Ganesh Kumar, Babu Namboothiri are usual in their respective roles.
STORY – SCREENPLAY – DIRECTION – Avatharam
Like any revenge saga Avatharam too chooses a tried and tested plot. Screenplay is pretty ordinary and have shades of many previous films. As it goes in a predictable not one doesn’t get any thrills or sympathy for the characters apart from very few occasions. Few sub-plots like the heroines sadistic relatives are very much forced. Dialogues are okay but at times poor. Joshiy’s direction is alright and saves the film from further fall. But his script selection is getting poor nowadays.
TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT - Avatharam Malayalam Film
Cinematography by R.D Rajasekhar is good and there is quiet a richness in frames. Editing is improper as the film appears long. Deepak Dev’s songs are satisfying but the background scores are average.
ANALYSIS - Avatharam Malayalam Movie Review
First half of the movie is average and quiet passable. As the movie revolves around a serious plot there is very limited scope for comedy which is always a plus in Dileep movies. Post intermission things get tedious and it begins to test your patience once the revenge part takes off.
