Mohanlal And Tomichan Mulakuppadam Yet Another Time

While Pulimurugan is in a box office rage, the producer of the movie Tomichan Mulakkupadam also gets the limelight as the investor of the movie. Usually it’s the director and the lead actor who gets the public attention from the movie, but in the case of Pulimurugan, the producer too becomes the topic of discussion because of the kind of investment the film had and the kind of business it is doing post the release. It is not the first time Tomichan investing in a film. He had been producing films since Flash which again starred Mohanlal but his first film turned out be a big disaster. The next biggie, he produced was Pokkiriraja starring Mammootty and Prithviraj and that film turned out to be a runaway blockbuster. He has also produced a few other films like Four Friends.

The latest news is that the producer has bagged another biggie with his Pulimurugan hero Mohanlal. This project is said to be directed by Mega Director Joshiy who is waiting for a comeback after few debacles. As per reports it will be written by yet another Pulimurugan associate, Udaykrishna who is all set to begin the penning for the film. Seems like Tomichan has seen the potential in Mohanlal when it comes to a film business and that might be the reason for a sudden team up while Pulimurugan is still busy making the bucks.If the project materializes, this would be more like a payback time for Mohanlal – Joshiy team who had two debacles Lokpal and Laila O Laila when the teamed up the last 2 times. On the other side, they Run Baby Run which released before went on to become a blockbuster. Joshiy had few other bitter experiences in between in the form of Avatharam, Salam Kashmir too. While the film is just into the planning stage right now, the expectations will be soaring high as four of the big wigs in business will be joining this time.
