Hrithik Roshan Prefers Mohanlal

Hrithik Roshan is very much looking forward for his upcoming thriller “Kaabil” which is being directed by Sanjay Gupta of “Musafir”, “Zinda” etc. The director was last seen with Aishwarya Rai starrer “Jazba” which sank without any trace. Sanjay Gupta who is known for ripping off and remaking Korean films has taken the plot once again from a Korean thriller for his Hrithik Roshan starrer “Kaabil” too. The trailer of the film was released recently and has opened to terrific response. Starring Yami Gautam opposite Hrithik, it is about two blind couples and a tragedy in their life. Ronit Roy will be doing the baddie role in the film.

Talking about its trade updates this one is all set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer action drama “Raees” which will also release for Republic Day weekend of Jan 26th. As both the films are fighting for the theatre bookings, its obviously, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer, which is leading as of now. Producer of “Kaabil” and Hrithik Roshan’s father Rakesh Roshan is also leaving no stones unturned and lately they have taken a wise opinion. To release their film in Kerala Rakesh Roshan has approached none other than Mohanlal and Antony Perumbavoor for their Aashirwad / Maxlaab banner as per reports. As no movies from Aashirwad is up for release anytime soon, the chances are most that they will he carrying out the Kerala release for the film. Their last film was Rajnikanth starrer “Kabali” which interestingly had a title sounding almost similar to the Hrithik Roshan starrer.
