Director Betrays Sunny Leone?

Sunny Leone has been in the limelight of late and this time it is for an off-screen incident. The actress had announced that she would be a part of the ‘Welcome’ sequel titled ‘Welcome Back’ featuring Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar. This was denied by the director Anees Bazmee who said that there was no such decision taken by him. Anees agreed that Sunny had approached him for a role for the film and that he had told her to wait till the scripting was over. It was then that Sunny went public regarding this and confirmed herself for the project which didn’t amuse Anees at all.

There are rumours that both Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar had objections to Sunny Leone’s casting in the film, but Anees rubbishes all the talk. He clarifies that his film is a comedy entertainer targeted at the family audiences and hence opted out of taking Sunny Leone in the film. Sunny’s hefty remuneration was cited as a reason by many, but again Anees says that the film is being made at a big budget and hence that would never be an issue for him.

Sunny Leone’s item number in ‘Shootout at Wadala’ has become a smash-hit helping the film at the box office as well. In YouTube, more than 290,000 people viewed it within a matter of a days!!
