Baahubali’s Villain For Mohanlal
Mohanlal is on a role from last week for multiple reasons. The actor who was looking for a solid hit post Drishyam, had finally found it with his Onam release ‘Oppam’ which is setting benchmarks in box office. The film, which has become a blockbuster has not only charged him, but also his future projects too. After the success of Oppam another news came in for the treat of Mohanlal fans as their Lalettan is all set to be directed by none other than Young Superstar Prithviraj. The film titled as Lucifer, will be written by talented writer Murali Gopi who is the brain behinds some brilliant stuffs like I Adutha Kaalath, Left Right Left etc. in the past. It wasn’t the end. The latest news is that Telugu actor Prabhakar, who is well known for his ‘Kalakeya’ leadcharacter in Baahubali is roped in as the villain for the soon to be launched Mohanlal film which is to be directed by Mohanlal’s relative and popular director B Unnikrishnan. This will be the fourth film of the duo who has made films like ‘Madambi’,'Grandmaster’ and ‘Mr. Fraud’ etc. together. Unnikrishnan is known for presenting Mohanlal is a stylish and best way and all the previous three films proved it apart from few embarrassing additional get upsin the last outing Mr Fraud. Apparently Unnikrishnan needed a strong villain to take off the antagonist role in his yet to be titled project and he saw his requirements in Prabhakar, who is usually seen in loud and menacing avatars in Telugu. Interestingly, this is the second time Unnikrishnan roping in a popular Rajamouli villain after Mukul Dev, who was the main antagonist in MrFraud, and he is well known for his Villainy in Rajamouli’s previous epic drama ‘Magadheera’. Though he wasn’t that lucky for the actor – director duo, best is hoped from Prabhakar’s entry.
