Varsham 22 Days Collection

Varsham, the latest Mammootty film has been slowed down by new releases after a smooth run for 3 weeks. The film which  opened on a decent note went on a fair way with weekends collecting more numbers and weekdays faring average. The film has done its best business in Ernakulam, Calicut and Trivandrum and is somewhat steady in these areas on weekends with families being the saviour. The distributor share is around 2.25 crore and this is pretty good when we compare it with the negligible budget of the movie, which is around 3.5 crore with print and publicity. With the distributors retaining the better performing shows in the balance centres it will add few more lakhs as the share before the closing of business. The satellite rights have also given a big profit margin for the movie which has fetched around 4.80 crore (Asianet)
