Tanu Weds Manu Returns – Anand Rai’s sequel to the 2011 hit film Tanu Weds Manu is ruling the roost at the box office even in its third week. The film has now collected a mammoth 128 crores from its 17 days run which is phenomenal by any yardstick.

The film which released on 22nd May in approximately 2200 screens in India took a strong opening day of 8.75 crores due to the hype and sequel factor. The amazing word-of-mouth consequently saw it jump historically over the weekend as it almost doubled it’s first day collection on its third day.

After a 38 crore weekend, TWMR created history on its fourth day by notching up a figure higher than it’s first day! Such has been it’s word-of-mouth and trends that it has got into the top-5 second weeks of all time collecting 46 crores in its second week.

TWMR is the highest grosser of 2015 in Bollywood as well as the biggest hit in terms of profit for producers, distributors, exhibitors and everybody involved!
