Peruchazhi, Mohanlal’s Onam release is also doing its last round of business after its 4 weeks of run. The film which opened superbly, showed drops during the pre-Onam time, but showed decent growths during the vacation season. Even though, the film opened to very much mixed talks, the family audience and the excellent promotion activities helped the movie to hang on. But as reported prior to release, the films haywire budget had become a slight worry for its makers. Costing around 11.5 crores, but the film has grossed around 9.40 crores from Kerala in 28 days and so collection from the rest of India along with world wide collection producers are now on the safe side. Which is impressive if the mixed word of mouth is considered. Thanks to Mohanlal’s super hold among the family audience.
