Oppam First Day Collection

Priyadarshan – Mohanlal combo has always assured a good opening. Even their last release together, Geetanjali took a decent opening before falling for the poor reports. Cut to 2016, we have Oppam. The film has share of 74 lakh which grossed 1.54 Crore on its day 1. Though, the film opened to low occupancies during the morning and noon shows, it got better by evening with the word of mouth coming in the positive side. The films majority share came from Central and South belt and the Malabar was the least contributor which is common for such genre films.
