Women should not wear jeans : Yesudas

Singer Yesudas during a recent event has expressed his views on women’s dressing style. The veteran singer opines that simplicity is our women’s identity and thus they should try to cover their body parts and should not wear costumes like jeans. He added that Women should also dress decently so that it doesn’t provoke the opposite ones. Although his speech got a welcome response from the venue many women’s organisations and individuals have come against this. While few said that all citizens have equal considerations in law, many other opined that men should also control themselves so that anything offensive doesn’t occur.
