“Will Do More Films With Mammooka” – Aashiq Abu

The much hyped action thriller Gangster directed by Aashiq Abu has been getting brickbats from critics and audiences since its release. The Mammootty-starrer has been accused of being the cliched ‘All-style-no-substance’ model that drags big time. The film took an earth-shattering start on the first day but fell drastically on the 2nd day onwards. Despite this testing phase of criticism all around, Aashiq has opened up for the first time post-release. The directed thanked all those who have been giving realistic criticism and feedback of all kinds. He also added that he isn’t a kind of person to respond to petty challenges and that he shall like to let his work speak for him in future. Aashiq also said that he shall do more films with Mammootty in future. The director signed off with a quote stating ‘Danger is real but fear is a choice.” Let’s hope Aashiq gives us good films in future and bounces back from this setback.
