One of the shocking events in the Malayalam Film Industry has been the split in the celebrity couple Dileep and Manju Warrier. According to reports, the issue had started quite sometime back as an actress and close friend Samyukta Verma had filed a case for divorce that had been signed by both. The petition was filed in Thrissur Family Court and the verdict is out. The division of wealth was an a long-standing issue that delayed the verdict, and it has been settled at last.

Regarding the custody of the couple’s only child Meenakshi, actor Dileep had expressed his interest to take responsibility and surprisingly Manju had nothing to say to this request. Instead, she had lots to say regarding the division of wealth as she claimed to get a huge portion of it. The court had given Manju permission to visit Meenakshi occasionally, but it is believed that young girl is more fond of her father. This breakout within a celebrity couple is surely one of its kind in the industry in quite sometime now and let’s hope that the duo get peace.
