Vishwaroopam-2 gears for release

Kamal Haasan’s sequel to this year’s blockbuster Vishwaroopam has wrapped up its shoot and post-production works are on in full swing nearing completion as well. The business deals for the film have started as well with Sree Kaleeswari Pictures snapping the Kerala rights while Ganesh Pictures have taken the Karnataka rights.

Kamal is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the sequel ends up as a bigger product than Vishwaroopam. The film was expected to hit the screens for Diwali and later shifted to Christmas. But the heavy-duty post-production works involved has further delayed the release. The film is looking at a January end release. Kamal shall be hoping that Vishwaroopam-2 gets a normal and tension-free release after the happenings that occurred during the release of Vishwaroopam this year.
