Unni Mukundan Joins Rajadhi Raja

Mammootty‘s Rajadhi Raja who’s shooting is happening in Pollachi has got a new guest. It’s none other than youngster Unni Mukundan who is said to join the crew for a special song number. Unni Mukundan has acted along Mammootty in his early days itself in Babu Janardhanan’s Bombay March 12 and he always keeps a special affection towards the Megastar. Moreover, Unni got the opportunity to play the lead role in the sequel to Mammootty’s yesteryear Blockbuster ‘Samrajyam’ which is unfortunately facing so many delays. Till date the actor has got only a Superhit from Vysakh’s Mallu Singh and is yet to get a solo success. But he has got a promising project at hand in the form of Lal Jose’s ‘vikramadithyan’ along Dulquer Salamaan

In Rajadhi Raja he is said to appear as a cameo in a song sequence which is composed by ‘Karthik Raja’ and he was present at the shoot yesterday in Pollachi. As per the reports he won’t be having any scenes as of now apart from the song and the crew is yet to clarify the same. Rajadhiraja will mark the debut of long term associate director of many, ‘Ajay Vasudev’ as an independent director and is being written by the masala writers Udayakrishna and Sibi. K. Thomas duo. Rai Lakshmi a.k.a Lakshmi Rai will be seen as Mammootty’s wife and Jojo, Joy Mathews, Vijayaraghavan etc. Will form the rest of the cast. Shaji will do the cinematography for this grand film which is said to be finish with a lavish budget. After the Pollachi schedule the team may move to Hyderabad were a prominent schedule is planned for the film. The film is produced by M.K Nazzer who early produced another Mammootty starrer, Face To Face. Rajadhi Raja will be released during the Onam season falling with the date of Megastar’s Birthday.
