The rise of 1983-The Gem

What you are seeing is a small movie with big dreams, 1983 winning hearts upon its release. But many doesn’t know the struggle the makers went through to release the movie. As the banner was new the Producers had to find a strong distributor as they were super confidence on their product. First it was to be released by the leading distrubutors Central Pictures. But had to close the deal as they found that the movie’s sattelight rates wer undervalued to around 1.85 crore . Even though the movie was wrapped up before coulple of months they couldn’t get through the release as their where an entirely new team.

It was later, after being in the can for a while, the team decided to screen it for Lal Jose who was keen to take it .It was within no time Lal Jose found the gem in the movie and buckled up the release and thus we got to see this sweet surprise, wich eventually became the first Hit of the year 2014.

Just like how their movie started and ended with the famous quote by the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar they chased their dream and made it come true.Congrats team 1983.
