Testing Times For Nivin

Nivin Pauly shot to fame with the 2012 blockbuster ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. The love story coupled with hit music and direction had clicked big time thereby pushing Nivin into the limelight. However, the actor hasn’t quite been able to build on that break as only ‘Neram’ among his other releases had succeeded at the BO.

The coming weeks are crucial for the actor as he is having back-to-back releases. ’1983′ is a sports comedy film that deals with the life of a youngster whose life changes after India’s historic 1983 world cup win. Nivin essays the role of a young village cricketer. His next release is ‘Om Shanti Oshana’ on February 7 that reunites him with his ‘Neram’ co-star Nazriya. The film is a love story narrated from the heroine’s viewpoint. Strangely, Nivin has made a statement about his shyness in doing romantic roles!

Currently Nivin is shooting for Anjaly Menon’s multi-starrer ‘Bangalore Days’ that also features Dulquer Salmaan and Fahadh Faasil in the lead. Testing 2 weeks ahead for the actor at the box office and we wish him all the luck!
