Simran Not To Be Kamal’s Heroine!

Malayalam record-breaker Drishyam is hot in the remake market with the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada versions being locked already. The shoot of the Telugu version starring Venkatesh has already started while the Kannada version shall start rolling soon.

Meanwhile, the Tamil version has generated the biggest buzz due to Kamal Haasan playing the lead. Another factor is that Jeethu Joseph who wrote and directed the original is directing the Tamil version too. Many heroines were considered for playing the female lead enacted by Meena in the original. There were rumors floating around that actress Simran shall be reprising Meena’s role. However, Simran has denied the news saying that she isn’t doing any version of Drishyam. She also added that her career choices would be told to the media by herself.
