Rima To Assist Aashiq Soon

Rima Kallingal and Aashiq Abu, the much sought after the celebrity couple of Malayalam is making news yet another time. If the reports are to be believed Rima will be assisting Aashiq for the Hindi remake of ‘Idukki Gold’ which was directed by Aashiq. The film which starred names like Prathap Pothan, Babu Antony, Maniyanpilla Raju, Vijayaraghavan, Raveendran etc revolves around four middle aged friends who goes for a road trip to revive their school day memories. Although, the movie couldn’t get the desired result the film was appreciated for its feel good factor and a noble plot. Aashiq who was supposed to make a film about a gang of girls from Malabar after the Gangster debacle seems like shifting his decision to this Bollywood project and things are being done for the grand launch. It is yet to be known that who all will star in the Hindi version which is expected to release next year.

Rima being an ardent film buff was involved in the production activities of Mammootty starrer Gangster and this time she is keen to try her hands in directorial department. Her better half, being a talented guy on his own space we can expect Rima getting some bytes from his part.
