Ram Gopal Varma Now To Try His Hands In Erotica

Ram Gopal Varma, is one director who finds a column in everyday news for some controversial and non-happening topics and no one expects a straight rive from him anywhere. Once again he is ready to amuse you and this time its quiet unusual. The director who has delivers some of the classics in past wants to try his hands in an erotic genre now. If there are someone, who is yet to come through this terminology, it is all about an adult content. Most of the RGV films are A certified either because of some controversial plot or over violence. But this time it will carry an A certification for the content and genre itself. Touted to be his first film on sex completely the title itself is jumbles from word SEX and becomes ‘XES’. XES will be released in both Hindi and Telugu like most of his films and is all set to start its shooting soon. Talking about his choice of this genre RGV posts this “Ever since I have started my career I have done films in almost every conceivable genre as in Shiva (Student Politics), Rangeela (Love Story), Bhoot (Horror), Satya (Gangster), Daud (Caper), Sarkar (Drama), Kaun (Psychological Thriller), Attacks of 26/11(Terrorism) to name a few. But one genre that I have never tried my hand at is Erotica. I primarily decided to now do films in genres I have never done before and XES will be the first Hindi film I am going to do in my attempt to travel in that direction.”

He also adds that “The will to power and the urge of physical desire are the two most primary motivating forces in human instinct. In the film XES I intend to explore that facet of the human mind to its upper limit by placing an assortment of characters in six different sexual situations which will be all connected through one central storyline. In an erotically charged atmosphere, each of the situations in the film are going to bring out the emotions of guilt, betrayal, helplessness, embarrassment, hurt and above all empathy. XES is going to be my first Hindi film in my re-invention of what all genres I tried my hand at so far.” Now this is something to watch out for and let’s see what RGV has with his this offering.
