Priyadarshan’s New hero!

Director Priyadarshan, who mostly opts for Superstar flicks has changed his game plan as he is set to cast Jayasurya in one of his upcoming flick. The film, which is said to be an out and out comedy flick is planned to start by September, once Jyasurya is done with his current projects. Jayasurya, is reportedly super excited to grab a Priyadarshan flick which according to him is a dream come true. ‘Yes, it is more like a dream come true for me and is so proud to get a role in Priyan sir’s flick’. The film which is yet to be titles is in the pre-production stage and the heroine hunt is going on. Jayasurya will be accompanied by a long list of actors and Priyan’s usual casts like Innocent, Nedumudi Venu, Harisree Ashokan, Maniyanpilla Raju etc. in comedy roles. As heard, the film will be on lines of Priyan’s yesteryear blockbuster ‘Thenmavin Kombathu’. Priyadarshan was last seen with Geetanjali starring Mohanlal, Nishan, Keerthi Suresh etc which didn’t get te desired result after a successful ‘Arabiyum Ottakavum’. With this Jayasurya will have one more comedy film in his list after ‘Mathayiyude Suvisheshangal’, ‘Aadu Oru Beekhara Jeeviyaanu’ etc., a genre in which he shines consistently.

Jayasurya has been having a good time at the box office with back to back hits in ‘Philips and The Monkey Pen‘ and ‘Punyalan Agarbathis’ both which had acclaim as well as commercial success. His performance in the action anthology D-Company was also well appreciated. The actor who has a plate full of flicks this year will be hoping to score big with this Priyan film and take his career to the next level.
