Prithviraj Replaces Mammootty For The Legendary Role

It was a big ticket news when announced that Mammootty will be once again crooning the character of ‘Basheer’ from Mathilukal. The film, which was titled as ‘Mathilukalkkappuram’ was said to deal with the following life of Basheer and his love life after the imprisonment. Many of the big names where said for the heroine character from Nayanthara to Vidya Balan, but nothing materialized from rumours. After so much of delays and hiccups we hear that Prithviraj is now considered to do the role of Basheer as Mammootty seems to exit the movie due to unknown reasons. Also, the rumours say that comeback actress Manju Warrier will be doing the heroine character. The film is written by Prasad, a debutant and he himself will direct the film. If things fall in place we can say that Prithviraj has bagged a role of a lifetime. Let’s wait.
