Peruchazhi’s Unique Record!

Ever since the wacky posters released, Mohanlal’s mass comedy entertainer Peruchazhi has been connecting well with the public – be it the actor’s fans or the neutrals who seemed to have loved his look and getup in the film as well as the style of the posters. The film directed by Arun Vaidyanathan has become the first Malayalam film to be shot in Universal Studios in the USA. A major part of the film’s shoot is in the USA and the budget of the scenes there itself has crossed a whopping 4.5 crores! Peruchazhi also features Aju Varghese, Baburaj, Mukesh and Vijay Babu in key roles. The film is a potboiler with all the elements to be a full fledged entertainer and if reports are true, Mohanlal’s characterisation would be something to watchout! The film also has an item song titled ‘Po Mone Dinesha’ which is also a famous punchline from Mohanlal’s mega blockbuster Narasimham in 2000! Seems like this Peruchazhi is all set to strike big this festive season!
