‘Not Against Manju Making A Comeback’ – Dileep

During the past few weeks, the most talked about news in the Malayalam film industry is regarding the comeback of actress Manju Warrier. There were rumours floating around that Manju was interested in returning to films, but her husband actor Dileep was opposing it. When these rumours started spreading wide and far, Dileep himself decided to clear the air over this by stating that he doesn’t have any problem with his wife making a comeback to films. He also added that being an actress, it was up to Manju to decide when she should do a film.

This news regarding Manju’s comeback had become quite famous, so much so that Dileep was being questioned often by the media. The actor replied to a similar question that Manju is now totally focussed on dance and as a result doesn’t have time for anything else. Hence, the actress is planning to do many stage shows in the coming weeks.

The rumours about Manju’s comeback started when there was a news stating that the actress would be paired opposite Fahad Fazil in director Sathyan Anthikad’s film. However, this news was denied by the director himself though he did add that if the actress was ready to do a film, he would definitely be glad to do a project with her. Adding to this was Manju’s reply to this question at the famous show ‘Ningalkkum Aaakaam Kodeeswaran’ hosted by actor Suresh Gopi. Manju said that she is unsure about when she would make a comeback, but admitted that her passion for acting is still very much alive.
