Nivin To Take On Mammootty

This Friday (February 7) shall see two diverse films battle it out at the box office. Mammootty’s period romantic drama ‘Balyakalasakhi’ directed by Pramod Payyanur is the first of the 2 releases. Isha Talwar and Meena are the female leads in this film that shall see Mammootty in a dual role. The film is based on a novel by Vaikom Muhammad Basheer with the screenplay being done by Pramod himself.

Nivin Pauly’s Om Shanti Oshana is the other release. This romantic comedy entertainer has Nazriya as the female lead with director Vineeth Sreenivasan playing a key role in the film. The promos and songs have managed to make an impact in social networking sites. Nivin is riding high on the success of 1983 and will be hoping to notch up back-to-back hits.
