Namitha To Speak Konkani In Vikramadithyan

Vikramadithyan, the upcoming young multi-starrer is expected for many reasons. The film which is being directed by Hitmaker ‘Lal Jose’ stars Dulquer Salmaan and Unni Mukundan along with Namitha Pramod. Apart from them Nivin Pauly will have a cameo role in the movie making the movie bigger. In the movie, Namitha will be playing the role of a Konkani girl and she had to learn a lot about the language prior to the movie. Few actresses in the past had done roles speaking different languages like Gautami in ‘Diamond Necklace’, Samvritha in ‘Robinhood’, but Konkani language is something which is touched rarely by Mollywood Directors. Superstars Mammootty and Dileep were last seen essaying the roles of Konkani speaking characters in ‘Kammath and Kammath’.

The films language diversity doesn’t stop here. Reportedly, there will be six songs in the movie, from which two will be in Hindi and Gujarati. The songs are composed by Bijipal. Unni Mukundan and Dulquer will play the title characters named ‘Vikram’ and ‘Adithyan’ respectively. The film which will be an out and out entertainer will talk about three childhood friends and their lives. Dr. Iqbal Kuttipuram is scripting the movie after a successful ‘Our Indian Pranayakadha’ and this will be his third outing with director Lal Jose. The recent super success of ‘Bangalore Days’ has heightened the hype and expectations of the movie further. Vikramadithyan will be a Ramzan release.
