Munnariyippu Is Not An Art Film : R.Unni

From the time of the announcement of this film many have speculated ‘Munnariyippu’ to be an art or an offbeat film. The teaser and few promos firmed things in the mind of the audience. But the writer of the film, R. Unni has made quite clear that ‘Munnariyippu’ isn’t an art film as many expects and is a noble movie intended for everyone. It is just like any general movie and can be enjoyed by every group of the audience, Says a confident Unni. He also says that ‘Munnariyippu’ script work was finished in lesser time for me when compared to his previous works.

Mammootty plays the role of ‘Raghavan’ who just comes out after an imprisonment for killing two women and encounters a journalist who wants to investigate his past. Aparna Gopinath will be seen as the journalist and Prithviraj will be seen in a cameo role. The film is directed by ace cinematographer ‘Venu’ after ‘Daya’ and will be released on June 19th.
