Mohanlal- Madhupal Movie To Start From September

It was announced months before that Madhupal and Mohanlal will join for a movie. But it got postponed for multiple times as Mohanlal had few early commitments. Now we hear that the project is finally taking off in September after Mohanlal is done with Joshiy’s ‘Lailaa O Lailaa’. The Superstar, who was set to do the Sathyan Anthikkad film from September had to postpone it as the writer Ranjan Pramod has been yet to finish the script work for it, resulting in the quick entry of Madhupal’s project. It is heard that Mohanlal will play the role of a leprosy patient and if sources are to be believed, the writer Jayamohan has written a brilliant character for Mohanlal. The script work for this movie was written a year ago and Madhupal was waiting for Mohanlal’s date all these days. It will have a new face as the heroine as per the director. This will be Madhupal’s third directorial after the much appreciated works ‘Thalappavu’ and ‘Ozhimuri’ making his association with Mohanlal something to watch out for. Palakkad will be the initial location for the movie and the team has planned a shoot for about forty days. The film is expected to release sometime towards the end of this year.

This project will mark Mohanlal’s return to an offbeat genre after doing several commercial flicks. It was Blessy’s Pranayam, in which the actor was last seen doing something offbeat for which he walked out with huge appreciations.
