Maqbool Salmaan’s attitude gets beyond tolerable limits

While Dulquer Salmaan, son of Mammootty, continues to woo audiences and critics with his choice of films and performances, his cousin Maqbool is going the wrong route completely. Maqbool is the son of Mammootty’s younger brother Ibrahim Kutty and made his debut through the Asif Ali starrer ‘Asuravith’.

Maqbool hasn’t had much of success as yet and yet what irks people in the industry is his attitude. He is said to have tantrums on the sets and orders people around. Maqbool doesn’t listen to anyone in the unit and plans his own timings to arrive on the sets much to the dismay of the producers. They are in a difficult position as Maqbool influences people due to his uncle’s popularity and cousin’s fame.

Mammootty is aware of his nephew’s antics and has distanced himself from Maqbool quite a long while back. The reason for that being Maqbool’s freaky ways almost landed Dulquer in trouble when the cousins hanged out in Goa during a vacation period. Maqbool’s addiction towards drugs and other stuffs almost got himself and Dulquer into trouble with the cops.

The irony here is that despite being a star-son, Dulquer is very modest and loved by all whereas Maqbool who doesn’t have any such tradition is showing his egos. It seems like one of these days Maqbool might have to pay dearly for all these.
