London Bridge To Be Dubbed Into Telugu
Prithviraj’s recent release London Bridge may be a commercial failure, but that doesn’t stop the movie from getting a dubbed version in Telugu. The film which starred Andrea Jeremiah and Nanditha Raj apart from Prithvi will be titled as ‘Love in London’. What gives the movie a face value to be dubbed is majorly the presence of the lead heroines. Andrea had been a frequent face in the Telugu audience through dubbed versions of her films like Aayirathil Oruvan, Mankato, Vishwaroopam etc. She was also one of the heroines along Tamannah Bhatia in ‘Tadakha’, the remake of Tamil Super Hit ‘Vettai’ starring Arya and Madhavan. On the other hand Nanditha Raj also ran into fame with her ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ which was one of the surprise hits of 2013. Prithviraj himself has the credit of doing a straight Telugu film ‘Police Police’ in 2010 along with Srikanth which was directed by Manmohan. Moreover his several films like Ananthabhadram, Arjunan Sakshi, Anwar etc were dubbed into Telugu. He also got a nationwide appeal through his Bollywood flicks Ayya and Aurangzeb is increasing his popularity.
All the above factor has moved the makers of London Bridge to go for a dubbed version and an official press release was published by the makers couple of days back in Hyderabad confirming the news. ‘London Bridge’ was one of the movies to be finished with quiet a premium budget and through their dubbed release it might earn them a few bucks with the theatrical release and TV rights. The film which released originally in February was one of the lacklustre outings in box office and remains as the only flop for Prithviraj after his dream run from ‘Ayalum Njanum Thammil’. Nevertheless it didn’t worry him as he had a winner on the 7th day which released for Vishu. London Bridge was directed by Anil. C. Menon and written by Jinu J.B.
