Lal Jr. Plans His Next With Mammootty

Here is something exclusive for Mammootty fans. If everything falls into place , the Megastar is all set to do a film for Lal Jr a.k.a. Jean Paul Lal, who is ready with Asif Ali starrer ‘Hi I’m Tony’. Reportedly Jean has narrated the one liner to Mammootty, who got impressed with it and immediately gave a nod. Jean, who has confessed previously that he is a great Fan of Mammootty, is delighted with his new project and is trying to come with the best. This film is expected to begin its shoot from next year as Mammootty is busy with many projects. All though nothing has been confirmed with the rest of the casting and crew etc., it is heard that Jeans father, actor Lal will be doing an important character. It was a dream debut for Jean with his Asif Ali starrer ‘Honey Bee’ which was a runaway hit of 2013. From then he has carved a special image among the youth audience for his style of making. Now he is back with his next ‘Hi I’m Tony’ which once again has Asif Ali as the lead and Mia George opposite him. This film also has Lal doing a pivotal role and will be a quiet serious one. If Honey bee was an entertainer, Tony will be an intense drama and will be a dark thriller going by the promos and posters. Mammootty, who has one of his best ‘Hitler’ with Siddeeque – Lal team later had a bitter experience with Cobra which was directed by Lal. Now its time for Jean to take over Mammootty, who has given some trendsetter with the young directors in the past. It is to be noted that Mammootty has another movie to be directed by Siddeeque independently, which will also see the lights next year.
