As Abrid Shine’s debut directorial venture ’1983′ continues to rock the theaters, Lal Jose can afford to smile! This comedy entertainer based on cricket was in the news since its shoot started but what many don’t know is that the makers were struggling to get the film distributed in a decent manner. This was when Lal Jose stepped in through LJ films. Lal Jose had watched the preview show and immediately decided to step in to distribute the film. LJ films had earlier distributed smash hits like ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ and ‘Diamond Necklace’. So, we can safely say that Lal Jose’s gamble has paid off one more time!
