Jiiva And Ravi K Chandran Under Arrest!

Celebrities getting arrested is always a big news and it seems like actor Jiiva has landed himself into a soup along with cinematographer-director Ravi K Chandran. The incident apparently happened in Morocco during the filming of the duo’s flick Yaan. The action thriller is being shot on a wide scale with some jaw-dropping stunt sequences in store. One of the scenes had a group of terrorists kidnapping Jiiva and during the shoot of this scene, Morocco police intervened taking Jiiva and Ravi into custody.

The Morocco police went on record stating that the duo has been arrested on grounds of shooting improper sequences without the proper permission. Everything including the cameras had been seized by the cops. The incident got bigger which forced the Indian Embassy in Morocco to intervene and finally the issue got solved. The entire crew got back to work but the remaining sequences have been canned using sets. The film is Ravi K Chandran’s debut as a director after having wielded the camera for many flicks. Thulasi who made her debut in Kadal is the female lead while Harris Jayaraj scores the music.
