Jayasurya’s purple patch

Actor Jayasurya is a happy man these days and for a reason. His two films had released back-to-back and both are doing well at the box office. The first of the releases was ‘Philips and the Monkey Pen’, a children’s film that also featured Remya Nambeesan, Master Sanoop and Vijay Babu among others. The film struck a chord with the family audiences and has turned out to be a clean hit.

This was followed by Jayasurya’s 2nd release ‘Punyaalan Agarbatis’, a social satire dipped in humour. The film directed by Ranjith Sankar had the actor donning the producers’ hat as well and the film has turned out to be a super-hit at the box office giving Jayasurya the producer a good start. Happy days indeed for the talented actor and we hope he cashes in on his successes.
