Its Amala Paul And Not Manju Warrier For Mohanlal

Expectations and eagerness increase day by day when two most wanted names in the industry come forward together. The same is happening now for Mohanlal – Joshiy movie ‘Laila Oh Laila’ which is being in the pipeline for a while. It was said in the beginning that the movie will be released for Onam like the duo’s ‘Run Baby Run’ which was the Onam Blockbuster of 2012. But as the film needed more pre-production time being a grand film and the dates of the artists were clashing the team has to choose for some other release time. A lot was talked about the casting too. Many named kept changing in front and behind the camera and the big thing was inclusion of Manju Warrier in the place of Amala Paul who was supposed to team up with his ‘Run Baby Run’ team. The pre- release buzz and talk of Manju’s ‘How Old Are You’ added fuel to the news. The stunning comeback of Manju through ‘How Old Are You’ brought excitement to the news as the ‘Aaram Thamburan’ pair will be seen in soon. But now the sources confirm that it will be Amala Paul who would be seen opposite Mohanlal for Laila Oh Laila and not Manju anymore. Amala, who just tied the knots with her ‘Thalaivaa’ director A.L Vijay will quit film’s after she is done with her prior commitments which includes this film.

Meanwhile, the Mohanlal- Manju combo is still on the cards for another project to be directed by ‘Sathyan Anthikkad’ which will be an ‘Aashirwad Productions’ venture. ‘Laila Oh Laila’ is written by popular Bollywood writer ‘Suresh Nair’ who is known for his works like Namastey London, Kahaani & D-Day. The film is said to be a comedy thriller on the lines of ‘Run Baby Run’ and will be produced by ‘Finecut Entertainments’. Music director Amit Mishra will be debuting in Malayalam with this film.
