Is The Mammootty – Mohanlal Fans Unity To Sustain?

Nowadays, it is the unity of Mammootty and Mohanlal fans, which is the talk in social media’s. The big time rivals decided to forget their animosity and be ‘one’ in future. The surprising development happened after an unwanted post from a Kannada Page which targeted Mammootty and the result was a combined counter from both the fans of the biggest Superstars ever made in Malayalam. Some see’s this as a much needed decision for the betterment of industry as most of the films are nowadays a victim to the rivalry between the fans. Recently, most of the directors like Aashiq Abu, B. Unnikrishnan and Srinath Rajendran came against this as their films were harshly degraded in the social media platform’s especially in Facebook. While B. Unnikrishnan filed a case against the attacks towards him and his film Mr. Fraud, Srinath Rajendran opted that the rivalry between the fans of Mammootty and Mohanlal is resulting in the outright fall of any movies and ‘koothara’ was a victim of one such. He even grieved that after taking efforts by shooting in the middle of the sea and all it was just like watching our own kid raped in front of our eyes. On the other hand Aashiq Abu replied in his own style to those who were against his film ‘Gangster’ from the time of its release.

It is a known fact that Mammootty and Mohanlal fans go to any extreme to bring down their rival films irrespective of the quality and efforts. Even a film like Drishyam which had every opinion in favour of it, had to go under a similar fate when the movie’s whole plot was revealed by some lifeless ones a week before its release. The situation even went to Mohanlal and his producer Antony Perumbavoor’s ears who tried their best to stop it.Whenever the big M’s fans get into spats like these, one thing they forget is the ill effects which go to the producers who puts their life and money to a project expecting the return. Anyways, the latest hand shake between the fans is welcomed by most of the people and is quite a topic even in between a busy world cup schedule. But, it has to be seen how far and where it goes. The first release of post this will be Mammootty’s ‘Manglish’ and everyone is eagerly waiting for the response from the fans of both.
