How Karthi missed Anjaan!

Suriya‘s high voltage entertainer Anjaan is readying for a massive release on August 15. Right from the posters to the promos and the music, everything has struck the right tune for Anjaan which is indeed high on hype at the moment. The film has Vidyut Jamwaal in a key role along with Suriya which is evident from the snippets released so far. It is also confirmed that he doesn’t play a negative character. The unknown fact about Anjaan is that it was initially scripted for Suriya and Karthi to star together with the latter slated to do the role that Vidyut has done. However, due some reasons, Karthi had to opt out of the project to make way for Vidyut. Suriya confirmed this news in an interview recently and it must surely have been a disappointment for those people who wanted the brothers in action together! Anjaan is Lingusamy’s directorial venture after Madhavan-Arya’s smash-hit Vettai. Suriya is also fresh from the roaring success of Singam 2 which was the only blockbuster of 2013!
