Drishyam Error and Jeethu’s Explanation!

There was a criticism or rather a flaw mentioned about the family thriller Drishyam that has turned to be a huge all time blockbuster. The flaw mentioned was regarding a scene in the film where Georgekutty’s sidekick Monichan gives evidence in favour of Georgekutty saying that the latter had called him on the day the murder happened stating the family’s outing in Thodupuzha. The IG later finds out that Georgekutty and family had gone on another date. So, by checking the phone records, he can easily catch Georgekutty as on that day of the alibi, he was in office with Monichan.

Jeethu Joseph reacted to this in a very positive manner indeed. He said that there were a few other flaws in the script too which was removed later but admitted to this point. Jeethu said that no film is perfect and that there are a few other minor flaws in Drishyam too. He praised the malayalam audience and was in awe of their sharpness in pointing flaws which he felt is one of their best qualities.

Drishyam has broken every possible record at the box office and created new tough benchmarks for the industry which is exceptional by any yardstick. The film has also broken CD/DVD sales records and it seems like the Drishyam mania is unstoppable
