Actress Swetha Basu has been in the news for all the wrong news recently after her confession about being involved in the flesh trade business out of hopelessness. The news had sent shockwaves in the film industry as the actress was a National Award winner too. Opinions differed on the actual truth regarding this news but National Award Jury head Hanzal Mehtra has come to the rescue of Swetha Basu.

Hanzal feels that the media is being too obsessed with Swetha’s news to increase their popularity or sales by focussing only on her pictures and news. He also added that he would definitely ensure that the actress got projects in future despite this controversy. Hanzal challenged the media to show the same efficiency in exposing the business tycoons who are also involved along with Swetha in this controversy.
