Director, Arun Vaidyanathan Says Peruchazhi Will Be A Fun Ride

Seems like the Peruchazhi fever is sure to take up the state before its release as everyone from the unit is damn confident with their product, heightening the audience expectations. If it was one of the producers, Sandra who was seen excited talking about the movie couple of days before its now the directors turn. Arun Vaidyanthan, who is all set to make his grand debut in Malayalam is sure that his movie will surely take the audience on a roller-coaster ride. Arun who has done critically acclaimed Tamil film ‘Achchamundu! Was also the producer for the recent Prasanna starrer Kalyana Samayal Saadham. Peruchazhi, is the third film he is involved with and it will be the first one from him in the satire genre. According to him, Peruchazhi is a satire on the Indian politics which is known for its flaws more than the good marks. He adds that there is a suspense element in the much talked about title of the movie and is confident that the lead character, Jagannadhan played by Superstar Mohanlal will be loved by the audience for the wickedness and fun Apparently, he will be seen as a typical Kerala politician who is set to US with a mission. The movie will be more on the face-off between two characters played by Mohanlal and Mukesh, whose combination has always offered something to the audience.

Produced by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas for their Friday Film’s, Peruchazhi has Ragini Nandwani of Thalivaa as Mohanlal’s heroine. Aju Varghese and Baburaj will be playing the closest ones to Mohanlal’s character. Shot majorly in Kollam and United States, the film is one of the most expensive films in M-town. Peruchazhi is all set for a release on August 29 colliding with the Onam season.
