B.Unnikrishnan To Be Banned!

The controversy surrounding Mr.Fraud has risen to new levels with the FEFKA and the exhibitors’ association having a fierce fight. B.Unnikrishnan and Liberty Basheer were at loggerheads for weeks as the issue got bigger. The latest we hear is that director B.Unnikrishan shall be banned for lifetime from the industry for this issue. Mr.Fraud shall release without much delays to put an end to the controversy but whether Unnikrishnan can make another film remains to be seen. Malayalam cinema is facing a crisis of sorts and one hopes there is an end to this soon.

Mr.Fraud is Mohanlal‘s first Malayalam release of 2014 and is a heist thriller with a lot of twists in it. The film was initially scheduled for release on May 8th before the controversy changed things. The exact release date of the film is not known as different sources are claiming different dates. The censoring of the film has been completed and it has got a clean U certificate.
