Anjali To Follow Shakeela!

After Silk Smitha’s life was portrayed on screen, it’s time for another controversial glamor star’s life to be depicted. Shakeela was a phenomenon at one point of time as her soft-core films did massive business, and she was the talk of the town. The mark left by her is huge and hence this attempt.

A reputed producer from the Tamil Industry has come forward with the idea of getting Shakeela’s life on celluloid. Actress Anjali has been approached to reprise Shakeela’s role, and we hear that the actress has accepted the offer too! The film will release in 4 languages. Vidya Balan’s ‘Dirty Picture’ that showed Silk Smitha’s life was a huge success at the box office with the actress also winning the National Award for Best Actress. Malayalam film Climax starring Sana Khan also dealt with the same but bombed miserably without a trace.
