Andrea and Shriya in ‘Prakaasham Parakkatte’

For those who have good book-reading habits, T.Padmanabhan’s novel ‘Prakaasham Parakkatte’ is a well known one. KR Unni, a former associate of Lenin Rajendran and Madhupal has decided to give this title for his new directorial venture. Apart from that name though, the film has nothing to do with the novel.

Andrea Jeremiah and Shriya Saran play important roles in this film that also stars Prakash Raj in a vital role. Sreenivasan, Madhupal and Nedumudi Venu are some other relevant names in the cast.

The film tells the story of the Reddiyar family with Andrea and Shriya playing the roles of the daughters of the family. ‘Prakaasham Parakkatte’ has been shot extensively in places like Kochi, Tirunelveli, Thenkashi, Humpy, Ambalapuzha and Bangalore. Noted script-writer Jayamohan has penned the script.
