Aashiq Abu’s Next Projects!

April 11 was much awaited for fans of actor Mammootty as well as director Aashiq Abu both of who were involved in apparently the most hyped film in last few years. The action drama Gangster however after a massive first day imploded drastically to become a big dud at the box office.

The social networks were unfair in their wide criticism of the director who had fallen into a controversy regarding his statement about Kamal Haasan during Vishwaroopam time. Despite being down for the count, Aashiq has refused to give up and is ready to be back with a bang with 2 projects in the pipeline. The first project is with Prithviraj and is touted to be a dark thriller titled Vallathuvashathe Kallan. The other project is the hindi remake of his Malayalam directorial Idukki Gold. It seems like Aashiq has decided to take the bull by its horn. Let’s see what next!
