A Superstar Who Tried To Stop 7th Day

Prithviraj‘s latest outing 7th Day has become a notable success at the box office. Despite being a thriller, the film took a massive opening in the festive Vishu season. The opening week was bigger than 2 other big star films Gangster and Ring Master. However, producer Shibu says that the film nearly didn’t release on Vishu! In a stunning revelation, he says that a big Superstar was against the release of the film and tried every way possible to block the theatrical release of the film.

It is a well known fact that the film wasn’t getting takers for its satellite rights and Shibu adds that it is the intervention of this Superstar that the film had to release without satellite rights. Many channels had shown interest in the flick with it being a Prithviraj starrer but Shibu says that this Superstar’s influence made them back out of it. He tried every method possible to defy the release of the flick. Now this is a shocking news indeed and we have to wait to see if Shibu does reveal that name.
