20 Crore For Kamal Haasan

It is now well known that Kamal Haasan shall be playing the lead in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Drishyam’. This family thriller directed by Jeethu Joseph is continuing to smash records and meanwhile the pre-production steps are being planned for its Tamil remake.

The big news is that Kamal is being paid a whopping 20 crore for this project for which he has allotted dates for a period of 50 days. This roughly amounts to a stunning 40 lakhs per day which is mind-boggling! Another big news about the project is that Jeethu himself will be helming the Tamil version too. This flick shall be produced under the banner of Wide Angle Creations in association with Suresh Productions and is expected to go on the floors in April.
