Ring Master 70 Days Collection

Dileep‘s Vishu flick Ring Master is not done yet as it is raking few bucks even after the season is done. Summer is known for Dileep’s juggernauts as far as Malayalam Cinema is considered and Ring Master too continued the jinx as it has grossed around a very good 14.20 crore from 70 days of its run. Although the opening wasn’t that great like his earlier vacation flicks Ring Master held up well from its second week when other releases were slowing down. With vacations getting into it has family crowds thronging once again for their favourite stars film. Like his past movies Ring Master also had divided talk, but that is nothing new for a Dileep starrer, affirming his ‘janapriyanayakan’ title. The absence of any competing films in the same genre and a thirsty vacation crowd remained as the biggest pulling factor for Ring Master and Dileep once again showed what type of films should be released and when. But if there is something which limits this movie from a blockbuster verdict would be its high cost of production and if we take the basic rule ‘return on investment’, this one will just fall short of a blockbuster and settle around with a Super Hit on the lines of films like Sound Thoma, Sringaravelan etc.

Apart from Dileep, Ring Master starts Honey Rose, Keerthi Suresh, Vijayaraghavan, Suraaj, Shajon etc. and is written and directed by Rafi who was also seen in the movie in an important role. Produced by Vaisakha Rajan for his banner Vysakha Film’s it was released on April 12.
