R…Rajkumar steady on weekdays

Shahid Kapoor can finally afford to smile. His masala entertainer R..Rajkumar which took a good start in the weekend at the box office is now rock steady at the box office. The film despite mixed reports has been doing well mainly thanks to its good business in the single screens that is driving the film forward. The multiplexes are seeing drops but the single screen business has been solid.

The film netted 5.1 crore on Monday and 4.7 crore on Tuesday which meant minimal drops.

Weekend (3 days) – 31 crore
Monday – 5.1 crore
Tuesday – 4.7 crore

5 day total is approximately 41 crore and the second weekend will determine the verdict of the film. However, it is already in the safe zone, and that is a relief for Shahid Kapoor who has had a bad time at the box office. The overseas collection thus far is about 5 crore.
