Drishyam Creates History In USA And UK!

As if the records created in Kerala aren’t enough, Mohanlal’s family thriller ‘Drishyam’ is creating waves overseas big time! In USA, the film has became the first Malayalam film to cross the 1 crore mark (in Rupees). Prithviraj’s ‘Ayaalum Njaanum Thammil’ grossed 30 lakhs and was the top grosser in USA before Drishyam overpowered it with ease to set a new benchmark!

Drishyam has also become the first Malayalam film to touch the 1 crore mark (in Rupees) as far as the United Kingdom collection is concerned. It has not just become the biggest Malayalam grosser there but has done so by a huge margin. Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘ABCD’ was the previous highest grosser in UK, and it’s gross stood at 30 lakhs!

Drishyam’s record-breaking spree just doesn’t seem to end!
