Bangalore Days 21 Days Collection

The star-studded youth entertainer Bangalore Days have set the box office on fire and is turning to be one of the biggest hits of all time. The film that was released in 98 screens in Kerala and a massive 105 screens in Rest of India raked up 1.89 crore on its first day with 1.58 crore from India and 0.31 crore from ROI. The film went on to have an earth-shattering first week of 8.45 crore breaking all existing records of first weekend and the first week by some distance. The film continued to chug along without noticeable drops in its 2nd weekend and produced an extra-ordinary 2nd week as well with the 14 days total summing up to an incredible 13.36 crore.

It’s time for the third week figures of the film and to say in simple words it is more or less rock steady even after a couple of other releases including Koothara. It had to loose some screens for other films but still went strong with now families taking the baton after the huge rush of youth. On the other hand, the film after the fastest 10 crore and 15 crore showed a bit drop when we go by its speed towards the next step, 20 crore which is obviously a rare step for Malayalam movies. Nevertheless the film has grossed around a whopping 17.10 crore after a completion of three weeks and is on the virge of crossing 20 within a few days. With Ramzan’s approaching the film would make the most only this week and what it makes during Ramzan would be just a bonus. The share of the movie after 3 weeks just stands above 8 crore which is the highest one for any Malayalam movie after this much days(gross wise Drishyam leads by few lakh) . Same can be said about its collections from outside territories where it has made its own records and is still awaiting a overseas release which would still make the producers smiling all the way to the bank.
